I ordered food delivery. Delicious south indian cooking. It is so hard to find out nd genuine south indian food in the USA

We got the paneer tikka - delicious! Comes on a sizzler, and is our usual go-to. We also had a Paper Dosa - asked for it extra crispy and it was! The sambar was good and not spicy. Food - 5 Service - 3 (only one guy running everything, so while he was good, it was slower)

I had some time to kill while my kids were at a birthday party so I chose this place for lunch. You have to be really hungry for the buffet - I should have ordered from the menu but I chose the buffet instead and that was a mistake since I was just not hungry enough to try a bunch of things. There was a ton of selection and the chicken tikka masala was very good. They had the vegetarian and non-veg food separated and a LOT of choices for both on a Sunday. They also had really nice deep fried papad and I ate more of those than I should because they remind me of my mom's cooking :) I ordered the garlic naan per another Yelper and O.M.G. it was the best I've had in my entire life. And I love me some garlic naan. Yes, it's not "authentic" for a place called Chennai Chettinaad, but wow was it good. The restaurant was clean and I didn't get weird vibes for eating alone. A great option for a quick lunch if you're in the area, and even if you're not, go for the garlic naan!

I was surprised there weren't more people. This place should be packed. The restaurant was clean. The chicken kothu paratha is packed with flavor, and the lamb tikka masala is tender and rich, perfectly spiced. The garlic naan is a must-have -- warm, buttery, and pairs so well with everything. If you're craving authentic Indian food, this place will not disappoint. A true hidden gem!

My wife and I went to Chennai Palace for lunch . We originally came for the buffet, which is only available on the weekends now. They still have really good Indian food. We had the boneless Chicken Biryani #210 and the Aloo Gobi Masala #161, a vegetarian dish made with potatoes and cauliflower, which is my wife's favorite. My only complaint is that the Biryani didn't have a lot of chicken, but the flavor profile was good, and their garlic Naan is the best. The service was a little slow, but they only had one waiter working by himself, so it didn't bother us. We both used to be in the restaurant business . We will have to come back on the weekend for the buffet. l remember it being very good. I always look for a good deal, so a Groupon is available to save money, but it's not good on the weekend.

Setback, located on the North Side of Bell Road, Chennai Chettinaad Palace is not visible from the road. When you approach it, while on the West side of Route 17, you can gain access by turning right into the Cane's Chicken stand, or any of the other openings along bell. If not Turn right on Holmes, then look to your right. Chennai Chettinaad Place is under new management. They continue to work on improving. Perhaps by the time you dine there service will be perfect. Accounts of when the buffet is open conflict. According to the website, they are not open Monday and Tuesday. I ate at the Buffet on Monday. According to Hilton Honors, the buffet is available Monday Wednesday and Thursday from 11 AM until 2:30 PM. The hours may vary during other days of the week and change depending on the time of day. Call before you go. Cane's Chicken is no substitute for this buffet. As an Indian Lyft drive once said to me "when you eat something, you should feel something". You will at this buffet. It is not blazingly hot, but you taste the spices that are Indian Cuisine. One dish that I would feature was the Chicken Tikka Masala. They have other appetizers and main dishes. There are three or four kinds of Chutney, which you will find all the way in the back of the trays to the left of the desserts. It does not seem like the chutney's belong there, because they are part of the meal, and at the end, which is where they have them. The bathrooms (men's) are clean, adequate and to your right as you face the front of the restaurant. There were several people of Indian extraction so if you want a gauge of authenticity that would be it. There was no problem getting a seat at 12:30 in the afternoon. The buffet for two came to $25.98. This does not include beverages, tip or tax. Service is good. It should get better as they train the wait staff. This is a wonderful, aromatic/spicy buffet. It is unlike all the others. I wish them success.
